54mm Gear-Driven Ratchet Cable Cutter, 2 1/8‚" Jaw Opening (AL, CU, ACSR)

Huskie Tools REC-54M quickly cuts 2 1/8‚" cable and eliminates the repetitive ratcheting movement needed from manual ratchets helping to reduce the risk of sprains, strains, and lost time due to muscle related injuries. A powerful gear reduction motor pulls a movable blade through the toughest copper (1000 MCM) and aluminum (1500 MCM) cables. The moveable blade has wide gear teeth for extra power and full cutting traction. Gear guides are attached on both ends of the blade to align the gear teeth with the internal pinion gear. The ergonomic handle fits comfortably into a gloved hand and its open jaw makes it easy to insert cables for one handed operation with just a squeeze of the trigger needed to make a cut.

NOTE: The REC-54M is not intended to cut guy wires, ground rod or bolts. FOR CLEAN CUTS ON COPPER and ALL ALUMINUM CABLE PLEASE REFER THE REC-50M and THE REC-54ACM.
